Purpose

The goal of the Asperger Ministry is to provide churches with accurate information about Aspergers, and to point its Aspergian members toward Godly material best suited for the unique challenge of being a Christian Aspie in a secular world. It's mission is to glorify God by honoring His neurodiverse creation.

The information on this site is gathered, organized and presented through the lens of Aspergers. It is for, and about, Christian Aspies and Christian NTs in the context of their relationships to each other.

Even though it appears some material does exist online connecting Aspergers with Christianity, it seems missionary work dedicated solely in this field is lacking. This Asperger Ministry is about getting priorities in order and perspectives accurate, along with exposing false theories and myths. It's based on a Christocentric approach and isn't just for Asperger individuals. To be at one’s best for knowing how to relate with self and others requires having a sound relationship with your creator.

No matter what design God has ordained our minds to be neurologically, no one can afford to be distracted by the world's perspective on socializing. As Christians, we must seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Achieving harmony in relationships doesn't mean striving to be accepted socially. Acceptance is God's business. Our relationships, along with the people in them, do not belong to us but to God.

Even if the only intimate relationship an Aspie ever has is with Jesus, lasting contentment is possible. All people need the Lord, but while we're here in this ungodly world, Aspies may be the ones most in need of Jesus' friendship. Asperger's is not a disorder or sin. Aspies are a unique breed, bringing into culture novel ways of thinking beneficial to humanity. The church is the primary place where neurodiversity should be appreciated.

The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. May God use what's on this site to bring awareness of how Satan seeks to convince the world Aspergers is an anti-social disorder that needs to be fixed. Sanctification does not mean becoming less Aspergian and more neurotypical.

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. – Matthew 7:12

‘Hear, O church, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ – Mark 12:29-31

The Asperger Ministry is beginning as an unincorporated organization. It's in its developmental stage to serve as a billboard of information for Christians, Aspies, and churches.

Prayer support is welcome. Thank you for visiting.
